Amman, 14 January 2025 - The UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg concluded a visit to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he met with Yemen’s Prime Minister Ahmed Bin Mubarak and Foreign Minister Shayea Al-Zindani, as well as with senior Saudi officials and the diplomatic community.

The Middle East is witnessing yet another dangerous escalation.
The Secretary-General is gravely concerned about intensified escalation in Yemen and Israel. Israeli airstrikes today on Sana’a International Airport, the Red Sea ports and power stations in Yemen are especially alarming.
