On behalf of the Mission, I want to express our deep appreciation for your work.
I have had the privilege of visiting several of our local and regional offices, where I have seen firsthand the remarkable work you carry out and the profound impact of your daily efforts.
I have witnessed how UN Volunteers lead key processes: how you build bridges of trust with communities, how you help foster dialogue among the actors and institutions with whom we work, and how you remain committed to bringing peace to every corner of the country—often under challenging conditions. This year, the Secretary-General reminds us that every action counts. And the visible face of those actions is you—our volunteers.
On behalf of the Mission, I want to congratulate you, as your contribution has been essential to our work and to Colombia’s pursuit of peace.
