Amman, 21 April 2026 - The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) convened a new round of technical meetings in Amman from 19 to 20 April within the framework of the Military Coordination Committee (MCC).
Building on the previous meetings with MCC representatives from the Government of Yemen and the Joint Forces Command, this meeting brought together MCC representatives from Riyadh and Sana’a. The participants discussed the current context in Yemen and the region and explored ways to improve security for Yemenis through deescalation and continued dialogue.
Based on a commitment from all sides, OSESGY is planning to convene all three delegations of the MCC in the coming period.
