UNMHA marked the closure of a Quick Impact Project (QIP) supporting inclusive economic recovery for conflict-affected youth and women in Hudaydah, implemented by Handicap International (Humanity & Inclusion).

Implemented in Hays and Al-Khawkha, the project benefited 25 participants, including persons with disabilities, youth, and women-headed households, through vocational training in sewing, beauty services, and mobile phone repair.

As part of the project, participants received sewing machine setups, makeup kits, and mobile phone repair kits, with all kits equipped with solar system backups to support sustainable, off-grid livelihoods.

Local authorities joined participants at the project closure ceremony, where certificates of completion were awarded, reflecting strong community engagement and local ownership.

UNMHA remains committed to advancing inclusive livelihoods, self-reliance, and community recovery across Hudaydah governorate.
