OSESGY Employment

The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary General for Yemen invites all interested and qualified candidates to apply for the announced job openings.

The Job openings for both International and National positions are posted in Inspira, therefore, candidates need to submit their applications through Inspira, otherwise they will not be considered. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Please note that for National positions posted in Yemen (both General Service and National Professional Officer) you must be a Yemeni national to apply. With regards to positions posted in Jordan, for General Service positions you must either be a Jordanian national or have valid Jordanian residency/work permit to apply, as for National Professional Officer positions you must be Jordanian national.

How to apply for National Job Openings:

Similar to International job openings, to apply to national job openings, applications must be submitted online through the United Nations Career Portal (https://careers.un.org).

To apply for a job with OSESGY, candidates submit their applications using the UN online recruitment system called Inspira (https://inspira.un.org/).

The Inspira application is an extended online resume, specifically used by the United Nations, where you articulate your education, competencies, achievements and professional experience. The application is used to evaluate your eligibility and suitability for the job. It is your opportunity to tell your story in a way that demonstrates that you are the best candidate for the job.

If you want to apply for more than one job you can update and change your information in the online recruitment system before submitting a new application.

For information on how to apply for a job using the online recruitment system, please visit the links below for detailed information and easy to follow step by step videos on how to create an external account and completing the Job Requirements.
