07 Jul 2022 - The parties have a responsibility to ease the suffering of civilians and facilitate their safe freedom of movement. The parties have also committed under the terms of the truce to meet under UN auspices to agree on road openings in Taiz and other governorates. A UN facilitated process provides the parties with a platform for a sustainable and credible negotiated approach to opening roads. -

05 Jul 2022 - Amman, 5 July 2022 – The military coordination committee convened its third meeting today in Amman, Jordan under the facilitation of the UN Special Envoy’s Military Adviser Brigadier General Antony Hayward. -
05 Jul 2022 - In view of the upcoming Eid celebrations, the parties’ focal points in the military coordination committee agreed to consolidate their commitment to the current truce through a continued halt of all offensive ground, aerial, and maritime military operations, inside and outside of Yemen, and freezing current military positions on the ground.

06 Jun 2022 - Amman, 6 June 2022 – Discussions resumed yesterday 5 June in Amman, Jordan with the delegations of both parties to reach an agreement to open roads in Taiz and other governorates as per the terms of the truce agreement.

06 Jun 2022 - AMMAN, 6 June 2022 – The Office of the Special Envoy for Yemen convened the second meeting of the parties’ military coordination committee in Amman, Jordan today. Military representatives from the Government of Yemen, Ansar Allah and the Coalition Joint Forces Command participated in the meeting, facilitated by the UN Envoy’s Principal Military Adviser Brigadier General Antony Hayward. -
Press statement by UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg on the renewal of the UN-mediated truce02 Jun 2022 - I would like to announce that the parties to the conflict have agreed to the United Nations’ proposal to renew the current truce in Yemen for two additional months. The extension of the truce comes into effect when the current truce period expires, today 2 June 2022 at 19:00 Yemen time. The truce is extended under the same terms as the original agreement, which first came into effect on 2 April 2022.
