The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, concluded a visit to Muscat, Oman. In meetings with senior Omani officials, Grundberg expressed his gratitude for Oman's strong support for the United Nations' mediation efforts in Yemen.

The Special Envoy also met with Mohamed Abdel Salam, Ansar Allah's Chief Negotiator. The discussion focused on the ongoing efforts to foster progress toward implementing measures to improve living conditions in Yemen, securing a sustainable nationwide ceasefire, and achieving tangible progress toward an inclusive political process under UN auspices.
